A sewage ejector pump transfers sewage from lower to higher elevations—like a basement, bathroom, or laundry— to the main sewage line. And it is usually used for domestic wastewater.

A sewage pump, also called a submersible sewage pump, moves wastewater, including solids. It’s a high-volume, low-pressure submersible solids-handling pump.
