Removable Check Valve for Extra Flexibility
Our submersible deep well water pumps are equipped with a removable internal check valve to prevent backflow when the pump stops. It helps reduce the risk of damaging water hammer.
If sandy water is accidentally drawn in, to help clear residual sediment, the check valve can be temporarily removed to reverse flush.
For optimal performance and long pump life, we strongly recommend using clean water sources. This feature is designed for emergency use and is not suitable for regular operation in high-sediment conditions.
Tailor-Made Alloy Mechanical Seal
Submersible deep well water pumps are not for use where abrasives or heavy water scale are present. But in some areas, the groundwater has a high sediment content, and the users are unable to filter it in advance. A normal mechanical seal is easily worn down by sand, causing water leakage and motor burnout.
According to the problem with the standard solution, Hungerät developed an optional alloy mechanical seal to meet our customers’ needs. It significantly enhances the sand resistance and wear resistance, extending the service life of deep well water pumps.
There are some common issues: the pump is not submerged enough, debris blockage, impeller or shaft damage, or discharge piping issues.
Keep the pump at least 10 feet above the well bottom to prevent drawing in sand or debris. The exact depth depends on the well’s water level, total depth, and required flow.
